Thomas Royez is a interested by sculpture, installation and more recently performance, still practicing drawing or musical creation. For his residency with voyons voir in 2014, Thomas Royez plans to keep going on his Artifice(s) series, that he will put out door for the occasion. Volumes, looking like little volcanos or big gems, will be like coming from the Earth. Between a big-bang experiment and a carnaval from some strange place, Artifice(s) is a preformed installation, that is made up of a fireworks and smoks choreography in those glass structures. When all those products burn they transform its parts in a sculpture. Artifice(s) is thought as a way to challenge the issues of a working artist and the effect of materials on the structure. The installation that will be showned at Grand Boise, had been seen during the Gamerz festival and the auction house Damien Leclere for the PAC (Contemporary art Spring) opening in 2013 in Marseille. Each time, the art piece had taken a different form. After the fire, the sculpture will be put on display during the all season on the vineyard. Thomas Royer exposed his work with Pablo Marcos Garcia at the « Galerie d’Oz » (Marseille) in 2013. The previous year, he was invited to show his creation during the Gamerz festival (Aix-en-Provence) and in the « Galerie Susini » in Aix-en-Provence. Gerboise bleue
