With this new video, Françoise Pétrovitch questions the dual, the splitting into two, the mise en abîmein a proper and figurative way. To strengthen this idea, she chased to show her film on a basin of the washhouse of the town where the dark water becomes a screen.

As always in her practice, she made the drawings in washing ink, liquid technic like a visual echo of the water depth. The preparatory drawings from the video are presented in the cellar of Château de Calavon during the fifteen following days after the opening.
This video is also showed at Domaine du Château d’Avignon during the exhibition Egarements from June 15th to October 20th 2013.
