Peu à peu quoique aussitôt

Sous les eaux

Claire Tabouret chose to work around the mysterious figure of Isabelle Eberhardt. This author from the late 19th century, fascinated by the Orient made her life a roving, a drifting, an exile.Contrary to Odysseus, for her no question of going back home. She died engulfed in a flood which destroy her house during an unlikely storm in the desert. Isabelle Eberhardt, from whom we just have some really blurred and incomplete pictures, becomes under Claire Tabouret paintbrushes a figure always moving, evolving between feminine and masculine. She seems to be unsuitable as she looks dissimilar from a picture to another, metamorphosis as consequences of her travels.
