Peu Ă peu quoique aussitĂ´t
Did the leather bag given to Odysseus by the god Zephir, which locks up all the winds preventing the hero to comme back at home, had been opened in the space, crashing his spaceship in the middle of the vineyards? Benjamin Marianne decided to reappropriate this heroic figure and to transform him into a modern character having adventures in the outer space. This artwork is a direct reference to Charles Darwin, Buck Rogers (archetypal American Sci-Fi hero) and The Darjeeling Limited (film by Wes Anderson relating three brothers' initiatory trip). It offers a diving into a psychedelic and catastrophic world distorting for good our understanding of this agricultural territory. Here, the metamorphosis is about an unbelievable shape coming from a cosmological chaos.
